I think Bill Gates has voted with his money. He just
dumped another 5 billion into his philanthropy fund.
I think the guy figures the end is near for the bull
run of MSFT and he is getting Y2K compliant ;*)

I have been planning to buy a new computer prior to Y2K for some time. I am not sure my current model (over 3 yrs old) is totally compliant, and it is near time for an upgrade anyway. Just waiting for as long as possible (but I will buy before y2k) to get the best price/performance deal. Probably there are a lot of others thinking just like me.
