<FWIW, I closed my short this AM for a dollar loss. Niles report this AM says the ASPs will fall only $3 this Q and INTC has pull-ins due to Y2K issues that will boost 3Q.> Yuck! My timing on INTC sucks. Could have closed the position for a slight profit. Now, to continue on the Niles thing, he was upbeat about AMD beyond this quarter and downbeat on INTC beyond this quarter. Reconfirmed that IBM and Compaq will go live with Athlon the week of Sep 5th. I share his AMD take but disagree on the INTC one. I think Q3 will be down quarter for INTC - but don't have the guts to go against someone with a record of nailing the numbers on Intel - let's see.
