CNBC displayed new sentiment numbers today, and while I was not fast enough to write it down, there is a trend toward more bearish sentiment. On the other hand, there were two calls last weekend that were the epitome of complacency. On Saturday, there was the caller who had 100% of a $4 million plus portfolio in Intel, and whose attitude seemed to be, "But Bob, it can't go down because it's INTEL!" Then on Sunday, there was the caller who kept talking about "getting in on the ground floor" in the Internet sector, as if that was still a possibility. Both seemed completely immune to the concept of risk.
