Ken. Producer selling (con't). I think the point you're missing is that OPEC is an organisation made up largely of countries and they have political influence - in the copper industry there are handful of large producers - but with gold there are numerous producers and they don't control all the sources of supply - in fact they have to keep on producing and selling because with these other factors they have no idea where the price is going - it makes no sense to withhold product from the market. d
