What about Doug Fant? He may not have the right specialty, but he seems to be a bright, well rounded guy who knows his way around the oil biz and has a lot of contacts. I've learned a lot from his discussions of internal strife in Nigeria and other remote places, for example. A direct question could provoke a thoughtful and informed response. Just a thought if you feel comfortable doing it.
