If they charge less it will be for the usual reasons banks charge what they charge.....and that's that they charge what their competitors charge....because they have NO IDEA HOW TO FIGURE THEIR COSTS! Never have been able to figure that out. They are so gd'd topheavy they never have been able to figure out how to allocate their overhead.

Bankers use a "long form" account analysis to figure the profitability of their commercial customers...problem is their commercial customers are smarter than they are...they "cover" all sorts of fees owed the banks (to different departments) with the same balances!
