Peter, It all frightens me sometimes. You could just think that people would sense intuitively that things might be out of control even if they don't know much about financial history, business, valuation, economics or anything else. It goes to show you how greed/fear can warp the thinking of otherwise very bright and educated people. The one thing I am certain of is that not everyone "really" comprehends the concept of value. In this I include people that are otherwise brighter and much more educated than myself. To them it's all about up or down and when. I see it every single day at work. They simply aren't debating what it's worth or what's it's business prospects are. And when you try to explain it, the concept does not sink in. Wayne
