SYCD amazing. I just sold, and will hope for a pullback. Anyone else still holding? TOPP doesn't seem to have moved as much over the last few days, and I wonder if it will be making a move. The cards seem to be one of the most popular items.

Congrats to all who were PATIENT with SYCD! Up as much as 500% in the last 48 hours at one point today. I know this is mostly a momentum oriented board but both long term value investors and savvy momentum players are doing well today on SYCD.

As most of you know, I buy quality, highly DD'd stocks on significant dips and I feel good for all the loyal shareholders who bought SYCD in the 20-75 cent range over the last 1-6 months and held and/or bought more on dips. It wasn't always easy to hold or by more, but the smart ones did. Despite obvious MM tactics.

It reinforces an investment style I believe in, which is DD companies throughly, take an initial position that is comfortable for each person individually, buy significant dips, and most of all be patient. Plus don't get too swept up in the run-up.

OPEN LETTER TO KIMBERLY & HER THREAD

Dear friends,

Kimberly was kind enough to thank me for bringing GRIN & DVUI to the attention of this thread. Regarding Message 11052908 , you're welcome. The civility and usefulness of this thread is unsurpassed.

I also pushed TMAX here yesterday, which as I write is up over 40% today. GRIN is up over 500% since I advised buying it here, and DVUI is up over 300%

The original method of spotting GRIN was simple. GRIN happily told anyone who called them about the Pokemon deal, days before their news release and resulting run up. It was still ice cold then, but that's the time to buy them.

I'm always amazed at how often people miss 90% of the gains in a stock story because they wait until the train has left the station before trying to board, instead of getting the facts first, and using them to get in early.

Hindsight is cheap, so I'll give you an example you can profit from now. This is an example of big, positive news about a company, news that is not in a press release yet, but news that anyone can confirm just by calling the company and asking them. The company will also tell you that the reason they've not released this news (and other related positive developments) is itself a marketing strategy: they want to maximize the impact of the news, on both the stock price and on marketing their product, by releasing it all at once, instead of in dribs and drabs.

** WARNING: I'm going to tout a stock now. If you think this is a pump and dump attempt, please stop reading. **
** WARNING: The stock I'm going to tout now was a victim of a false takeover rumor pump & dump last Spring. **

OK, the company is MegaChain. Go to the MGCN thread. Read
Message 11043185

Despite giving this info out, and mentioning it both here and on Joe Copia's thread, only about $40,000 worth of MGCN have been bought in the last few days, and about half that total was me, adding to my already large position. This doesn't surprise me. I don't know if MGCN will issue its press release today, tomorrow, or not for another month. What I do know, or strongly suspect based on past experience, is that 99.9% of the readers of this post will ignore it, and that the stock will continue to languish. Later, when MGCN has doubled and more, and half a dozen posters say what good deal it is, then everyone will jump in. That's the way the stock world works, and I'm grateful, because fear of getting in before the crowd is what gives me the opportunity to profit.

Check out MGCN. It illustrates how I've picked winners, like GRIN. To the extent that others can learn from my methods, this post is a public service, in thanks for all the helpful advice I've gotten on this thread.

I'd also like everyone to rush out and bid MGCN up to 10 bucks a share right now, so I can sell it right away. However, since I haven't got the clout for that, I'll just wait until the fundamentals drive it up.

Happy trading, and thanks again. You guys (and I mean that in its most gender neutral sense) are the greatest.
