Vendit: Did you say Visa paid AOL US$500 million to advertise for 3 years on the AOL site.??? That's great news looks like they realize advertising on the Internet is special in that "your only 1 click away from a transaction".!!!

re: your Re :In future will companies prefer "Internet Advertising" over advertising on TV, Radio, and Magazines etc

We will see the same advertising on the net as we do TV since TV will become just another web enabled device and the NET will have enough bandwidth to have tv over it. Radio will always be radio. What I wonder about is printed material. Will they become interactive? I can see connected devices as thin as paper someday. Will turning a page become a thing of the past?

Vendit, what are the candlesticks on AOL telling you? I sure bet you must be smiling looking at them.

Is it too early to wish all AOLers and AMZNers Merry Christmas?

Vendit, As you know, in network TV/cable we use the unit TRP/$ to determine ad value. What is the internet equivelant? Hey, are'nt you up? It's 4 in the morning. Get up! <gg>
