FOr the benefit of those who have 'click' Handicapped: To: AntMan (39 ) From: Mohan Wednesday, Aug 25 1999 2:42PM ET Reply # of 40 Myth Thread Hall Of Fame (1997-1999): ------------------------------------ Platinum Honor (Or even better Title – The Internut Circle): MythMan - for making 'Myth' a household name. MythMan's repeated use of the phrase 'BK is a Myth' has earned him well deserved title, well - MythMan! (Not to mention the SI thread in his honor.) Founded in 1997, “the Naked Truth - BK is a Myth” thread has now surpassed theoretical limit of the 56k posts and is still going strong! Another important contribution made by this Mighty MythMan is that he debunked the Myth that certain market strategists and high profile investing professionals are actually Azz Wipes (and hence the acronym - AZW). Dispite numerous visits by the Real Man, his grace and cheer have been undaunted and his enthusiasm to participate in a dialogue with the fellow losers on the thread has never faded. Mr. Myth Man - my kudos to you and congratulations on the well deserved honors. Gold Circle - AntManfor worldwide marketing of the 'BK is a Myth' theme. AntMan's efforts to recruit such low life market bears as Bill Meehan and Bill Fleckenstein are to be commended. Despite facing certain ridicule among the rough and tough environs of the pathetic Myth Thread, AntMan kept his single minded devotion to popularized the Myth theme. Though he has been rewarded with countless pitiful grubs for doing so, we believe that nothing we can ever give him can give full credit to his hard work. However, as a token appreciation, we take this opportunity to recognize his sincere devotion by inducting him as the charter member of the Gold Circle in the Myth Hall of Fame. Congratulations Mr. AntMan - you have earned it! We hope that you will continue to recruit other low-life-real-life celebrities to the thread so that we can pay them with free passes to doodie.com as a token of our appreciation. Silver Circle - Eddie G. for First Creative use of POS Eddie always used to affectionately refer to MU as POS and at times Caca. Between the two, POS got so much popular that a whole new Myth Thread product line was launched with POS as an array name. One should not forget Eddie's creative genius in his referring to the stock markets head-cheer-leader on the CNBS tube as Gizzard Lips. His services to the MythThread are hereby recognized with an induction in MythThread Hall-of-Fame as the first ever Silver Circle Member. Honarary Mention Bill Meehan, Tiny Dryer and Fleck for popularizing the Myth Theme in mainstream media. Earlie for his mention of the Myth Theme in his newsletter. Mohan for his contribution with the word – “NASDUNG,” Michael Burke for coining the acronym “JOTT.” -Mohan, Chairman Committee on Myth Thread Hall of Fame Of course, all the above is void without this “-g-“ –g- #reply-11064601
