* Y2K update * -Poll shows Y2K fears fading

Fear of the Y2K computer glitch is fading, so much so that experts worry
Americans may be too complacent about potential problems in the new year.
Barely one in 10 adults (11%) anticipate major problems due to the failure of
computers and software when the Year 2000 begins, according to a USA
TODAY/National Science Foundation poll. That's down from 21% in March
and 34% last December.
