Oh sure I use a pretty old Sun 33 mhz station and with X Windows it is as fast as if I were running RedHat KDE, CDE, or whatever on the p2.

I was managing a UnixWare realtime statistical process control server a few years ago on a 486 64 mb ram with 32 mb ram dedicated to ram drive with 50 xwindows clients using supertcpip and hummingbird xwindows. really no complaints. server was hooked up to 64 plastic injection molding machines via serial port. for this purpose it was excellent. but for cruising the web, it sucked then and it sucks now.
