1. >"They've been very quiet, which suggests problems," said Jane Zweig, executive vice
president at wireless industry research firm Herschel Shosteck Associates. <
2. >"No one's doing this out of altruism," Herschel Shosteck Associates' Zweig said. <
3.>"I'd like them to be quicker [but] they're pretty much where we'd expect them to be," Gillott
said. "If they're delayed past the first quarter, they're going to have some serious questions
to answer."<

Sounds negative to me too, but could it be just the analyst?

1. Why does "hush-hush" necessairly suggest problems? How about getting it right the first time and not putting out a rush product that is a piece of trash. (They should look at irid)

2. What does that have to do with anything? Did someone suggest that it was being done to improve peoplekind?

3. A threat? If you have the serious questions, then spit them out man! If they want it to be quicker, then join in and lend a hand. I would, but I don't have a clue about electronics and the like. Therefore, I try not to be critical about another's efforts, unless I have proof.

Yes, this news is disappointing, but as long as it is in the works (and will work), then patience is the cure, not critique and threats.

Yes, time is critical, especially in this highly competitve environment. Cause for concern, yes.

Sorry for the ramble. Too harsh? Missed the point? The 'won't work' crowd is what tries my patience.

I just hope this person is short QCOM for their own personal account.

Given that everything we have EVER heard from Hershey Schlock-shop has been totally negative on Qualcomm -- maybe these people really are short !

Jon.
