Indeed, the only reason I can think of why they are peppering us with these annoying European commercials is that they're setting the stage for another round of singing robots.

If I were an Ameritrade stockholder, I would be pissed. Why? These guys are missing the boat by not getting their "Stuart" onto Squawk. The Squawk crew are clamoring for the guy to make a Squawk appearance...for crying out loud, talk about free advertising!!! If "Stuart" showed up on Squawk for a mere 5 minutes...you cannot buy that kind of advertising.

In fact, if their ad agency had any creativity, they'd create spinoff comedy characters in future ads, featuring bendo Stuart, the old man, and the old hag wishing him bad luck. Let's face it, their alternative commercial showing the black guy washing his boss' boat is getting pretty old.
