Hi bp, The Princess is Ms. X or Jan, who has earned the reputation as the "Princess" for being so helpful on the P&F thread. Member 3348639 As far as hospitals, I am biased toward private, non-learning hospital. I like Verdugo Hills Hospital, but that is pretty far out from L.A. proper. Freeman hospital did ok by me for on motorcycle accident and one bicycle accident. I would stay away from any county or affiliated facility (this includes UCLA and Harbor). One exception would be Oliveview in Sylmar (north San Fernando Valley). I dated a doctor while she was in her residency, so I got to get a flavor for quite a few of the hospitals around town. JXM
