Hello Margaret,

Yes Intel has been very nice to us lately and Merrill Lynch has been good enough to not sick their newest dogs on the company stock.
I guess sooner or later they will.

The market had really surprised me today and I had a sinking feeling in my stomach when the Dow was down sharply this morning. I was hoping for a turn around since the markets overseas did well overnight and the S+P futures were up nicely this morning. Well the day ended on a great upbeat and many of the techs stocks which were battered are started to look like darlings again.

Hope that everything is going well with you. Wrote you a PM

Take care
Warmest Regards
Frank

Hello Margaret. I was hoping me calling Ann Margaret ( this looks funny. I don't mean thee Ann Margaret) the second time around would bring you out of the woodwork. gg. I was so busy today and still took some time out to do a little posting. But I am ready to hit the hay and so this is the only post I can answer right now. Maybe if I have a little time left over I will get to the other posts before I leave.

I already know what you have been doing. Amassing wealth. gg. I did take the time out to read the posts before I replied.

Thanks for wishing me a nice trip. And if I don't get to the other posts before leaving, thanks to everybody. My wife is already fussing about possible thunderstorms here later today. It never fails. Heat waves and no rain and then this when we take off. Well, at least the markets took off also. Yes, wow, wow. Intel is doing great.

I try to post a bit after I have settled in in Seattle. You know, part of this trip will be grandchildren sitting again. gg. Our daughter took a law job (she is turning her back on the cpt industry for a while) and school is not until after Labor Day and Summer school is done with. So who do you call in a hurry? You guessed it. gg. We got our tickets on 1 weeks notice and the price was right. I did not want to sell any of my stocks. Come to think of it. I remember being worried about having to live in the dog house when I was out there in 97. I sure hope the market will be kinder to me this time. My daughter gave up her Au Pair but maybe she would hire me if the market went into the toilette again.

Talk to you next from Seattle.

Sonny
