S3 CEO Potashner Plans To Sell Additional 100,000 Shares (SIII) (NewsTraders.com)-- S3 Inc. (SIII) Chairman, President and CEO Kenneth Potashner registered an additional 100,000 common shares for sale, according to a Form 144 released yesterday after market close by the SEC. Potashner planned to sell the shares, which were valued at $1 million, on Aug. 20. He listed Merrill Lynch as broker. As reported by NewsTraders earlier this week, Potashner registered 175,000 common shares, valued at $1.8 million, with the intent to sell them on Aug. 18. Yesterday, S3 announced early termination of the Hart-Scott-Rodino waiting period for its planned merger with Diamond Multimedia Systems Inc. (DIMD). Of note, a Form 144 only shows a filer's intent to sell the shares. Actual verification of the sales, if and when they occur, would be provided in a subsequent filing.
