For those wanting a little fun choosing stocks in a Football Game like contest. Team against team. You needn't be a Piffer to join just a stock enthusiast and I know there are plenty of you here :-) DWA is having contest that pits team against team following the NFL football schedule. We are on the last Call for Football Registration The Football Contest registration is coming to a close. We will continue to take registrations up until Friday afternoon or until we fill all of the spots (there are about 100 left). If you have registered be sure to lock in your picks by Sunday at midnight. This contest is open to all (subscribers and non-subscribers) so if you know someone who would like to play be sure to let them know! Here are some of the details: When you register you will be given a code. When you get the code log into the system and you will be assigned your team. You can see what others have picked so far and make your own selections by clicking on the "Edit Your Positions link". After verifying your selections don't forget to lock them in! If you don't they will not be put in the contest. You must pick one long stock and one short stock. You can also post messages to others on your team by clicking on the Team Forum link. This way you can get some strategy going and hopefully learn from your teammates as well. Each week you must have your new picks entered between Fridays close and Midnight Sunday. If you do not make new picks then we will use the previous weeks picks. You can see a schedule of who is playing who each week of the season by clicking the Schedule link on the login page of the contest. Each teams profits are calculated for the week to determine a winner. LG, well i trade exclusively in U.S. markets...funny enough, i haven't the foggiest idea of what's going on in Austria economically or politically. in Europe i only follow the economic data coming out of Germany and Britain. i also follow pretty closely what's happening in Japan and China, but Austria? i only live here...<g> regards, hb
