kis, its hard to know if one would be an idiot or genius by going short now...keep in mind that many octobers have been disasters for the mkt and we aren't all that far away... i do get a ta letter here in toronto, the guy was going to compile a list of short candidates, now he suggests to wait...its strange that i haven't got a letter from him in awhile, but i truly believe even this fellow with decades of experience is puzzled at this juncture... i never would have believed this would go on this long, i figured the summer would be the top for sure...but you are right, it could go on longer...i think people may even buy right to close up on dec 31/99... lol ike
