what is interesting about Rambus is that we all speculate, we all estimate, we all peer into the future, .....and the stock is still baffling in its movements. I still blame the float. Let's get the price up, split this puppy a couple of times and create some liquidity for the market to work with!

ribman, it occurred to me that RMBS is just getting over the $50 MM in net assets (actual book value), thus it should still qualify for the super long term capital gain treatment (at least if you were in from before that event, a good idea to go back and check their financial and your entry points to classify which shares qualify and which do not). For many of us that play this one in their IRA or SEP accounts, tax issues are irrelevant since taxes are paid only when funds are taken out upon retirement. Thus doubling up on the number of shares by staying out of dangerous down trends and jumping back in on trend reversals is actually quite cost effective. There will come a time when this baby is going to double within a space of three to six months before it retrenches again, and the trick is to be on the bus for that move. I think we may very well be at the beginning of such a move (and thus my own jumping back on board). Zeev
