I think you should be able to get $3 billion in loans for each $1 billion in MSFT stock you own. I'll have to wait a bit longer to find out.

I wonder why he is doing it this way. I guess he wants to avoid a tax problem. He could borrow 1/2 of that number in cash from his local broker at a much better rate. Myself I get margin currently at 5.75. Why doesn't he put up 2billion in stock unless he is getting to the end of his tether. JFD
