<<So Streaming is like Level II,just not showing the MM''s>>

Though I 've never seen Level II, this sound accurate. Mainly it looks cool. One minute delays can't affect you that much since it takes at least that long to execute an order.

I used Schwab until now, and they were excellent but 3 x as expensive as Datek. Schwab has to be losing customers. I have yet to execute a trade on Datek, but,as I said, their servers are slow.

My investment theme right now is picking a leader/pioneer in an emerging industry and holding for 3-5 years. So I have ELOT and INLD in internet gambling and DIMD in MP3. And no margin since this takes away flexibility. Also the interest charges add up. All of a sudden about 1 month ago I got sick of trading so often. In retrospect I hope that will equate to wisdom.

From reading this thread, it appears that IQ charts is the cheapest and has the best TA short of shelling out $1500 for Metastock. And I am coming to the conclusion that TA is somewhat of a crock of **** in that all it really tells you is what a stock is doing now. News and earning are what really drive a stock, and who can predict these accurately.

Streaming is not like level II, it's just dynamically updating level I. And it's fine for day/position trading. Sometimes it's better than level II since there is less data to distract you. Use it along with the ISLD book viewer (essentially a level II just for ISLD).
