Just two words -- "herbal petrol". Got it? Oh, you didn't? No problem! It was some idiot "scientist" of IIT who said that they were "sitting on something big" when that farmer Ramar Pillai pulled a fast one on them! And there were numerous fellow "scientists" at the IIT and the Department of Science & Technology in India who went ga-ga over the fraud. Much later of course, after the whole world had come to know that Pillai was a charlatan, these guys went about complaining that Pillai had taken the "unsuspecting scientists" for a ride! What a bunch of idiots!
