hey yur there. Is n't that so true. I thought I Lan had had it's pullback so i put an order before i left the house yesterday. It's now an investment by the looks of it and I need to work more to have daytrade $!! Your right about not chasing the stock. I'm just about ready to commit to position trading only. I've gone through 34 stocks that continually swing on "the big news" that never comes. I've got what I think are bottoms (buys) and probable tops. written down. GRM bounces of the bottom I predicted and whent higher than I would have predicted today, which is cool. But look at GLE. I have 8.3-9.25 as its variance, or average swing.I was waiting for it...and today went from 7.9 -9.25 or 17%. Was I in? No. I was gambling on LAN rather than trusting my analysis of stocks that I know. Plus I forgot to put in a stop cuz I was in a hurry. What a maroon. Here are the variances that I promised you that I think are good for position trading. On my eturd account that I still have I have something called "stock watch " where you put in your "desired buy" and "desired sell" values and it displays a "L" or "U" for you on a chart. It's handy even though eturd bites.
