Bill you expected differently when you've got INCO operatives all over the place saying Canmine can't mine?
(and this from people who spent 4.3 bil on a moose pasture they can't bring into production)

Note to any Inco types lurking on the thread. When Ted delivers, and when he hits at BINCO, do you think Anglo, Minorco, Noranda or Billiton might be interested? What happens to you guys then? Do you keep digging deeper with your 1950's technology at Thompson? Or do you try to develop your moose pasture with no infrastructure and no power grid in less than 5 years?

Too bad Ted's got the leases, got the geologist from INCO, has experienced mine managers("Canmine lacks the mgt. expertise to develop mines, so I guess Lu Manning just became chopped liver) and can get power for 2c a kwh. (And for a dweeb in London, Ontario, he's either damned smart or has the world's best intelligence service. In Dec. 98 he was saying publicly laterites wouldn't produce, Cobalt was going back to 20 and Ni was going over 3. Inco of course was saying different things, but I've always felt they colluded with US hedge funds to drive Ni prices down to play hardball with the unions and Newfies. You'll note that their cutbacks announced in January were less than spectacular.)

We'll see then if B-INCO stands for bye-bye INCO or 'bugger-off" Inco.

Time will tell, but as the Good Book says, the first shall be last.
