hdjr, I have a couple of friends who are attorneys at Cross Timbers, not the business people .. But they like their chances moving forward. Also Cross Timbers and Lehman bought all of the offset properties for mucho dinero to their fields in the Arkoma Basin here recently. That tells me that XTO knows something about that region that noone else knows- maybe some solid gas plays that 3D seismic revealed? That's what I read into the CrossTimbers/Lehman deal...
