From Yahoo> Mobile Communication To Break Away From China Telecom 8/25/99 CHINA, August 25, AsiaPort -- Gao Hongbing, deputy director of Information Promotion Department under the Ministry of Information Industry and the State Informationization Office said recently the mobile communication will be separated from China Telecom in September. He said the administration and management reform of China Telecom would be completed by the end of this year. China Telecom Paging originally subordinated to post and telecommunications will belong to China Unicom.
