Herschel, its a little early to draw any conclusions. Only two net brokers are participating, and smaller owns at that.

Supposedly, Datek is now doing 800 trades per day in their after hours ISLD session. I would guess this is in addition to other, non-Datek, ISLD participants.

IMO, this is just everyone getting their feet wet. It won't be until all the ECNs coordinate a single limit book for afters hours, and somehow split the proceeds, that there will be enough volume to make it interesting. But I can tell you that those people who bought DELL on ISLD after their recent earnings release were well rewarded the following morning. And there was plenty of liquidity, and generally no more than a 1/8 spread for that 75 minute session.
