I understand this isn't a proprietary technology to Nokia. I was alluding to the article in Wired magazine concerning Nokia, Finland, and the rapid adoption of cell tech in that country. I know my own teenage daughter bought a Nokia phone because of the snap on color faces. Makes no difference to me one way or the other, but I think the younger consumers like the color and styling (a la iMac, which she also liked and purchased).

I'm wondering if CDMA can handle this type of messaging on both the receiving and transmission ends as easily as GSM or is this just a tempest in a teapot (or whatever they put tempests in these days). Teens may rule the world some day, hopefully a long long time from now.
