Dandy5-2 - Re: "Besides, with 600MHZ being such a stretch for the Intel .25 process, they can't have more than a handful to sell."

Now there's a LAUGHER !

HP and Compaq were selling 600 MHz Pentium ///s the day Intel announced it.

600 MHz AthLATE systems are not YET AVAILABLE - and these DAWGS were announced in June !

And you have the stupidity to claim Intel can only produce a handful of 600 MHz Pentium ///s?

You can't be this dumb - can you?

Paul

Dandee - Re: " Did you see Tom's article about how easy it is to overclock the .25 Athlon to 750MHZ? And how stable it was at that speed? "

Why golly gee willickers - I sure did.

Now why can't I get a 750 MHz ATHLATE system to overclock?

Seems like Tom has now become the chief "Over-Crocker" !

Paul

DandyDoodle - Re: "AMD has .18 aluminum for Q4,"

You are using a present tense VERB for a future event.

AMD isn't even delivering 0.25 micron ATHLATES Today and you have them in full production on an advanced process in just a few months.

Please say hello to Alice in your Wonderland.
