>>> Not enough stir here on the Pokemon stocks:

Raven, thanks for your post; but a few comments may be helpful

this thread is more oriented toward short term "position/swing" trades than the "stock du jour"
so while many of us may play these "instant gratification" ones we don't post a lot on them

your list is reasonably complete but at this point it is somewhat old news

everyone has been in play; some for a day, KIDE for weeks, GRIN for many days

they have been called/pushed/hyped by the daytrade crowd, mainly on mirc but on many stock picking sites as well

GRIN went the most because of very low float plus the fact that it got many mentions on cnbc; the big run is likely over; shorts (those who were able to get shares got hurt big time)
I did not touch it; just sat and watched it run and run and run DUH!

KIDE has been a fav for weeks now; many of us are shorting it at this point (I covered yesterday for 3 points on a small position); it may give a profit both long and short from here

TOPP gets called every few months; may not have much in it; it is a "real" company with good profits; the large float may limit the upside from here but it could run

TMAX is a decent company with a medium float; may be done, I'm thinking a short soon; but could have a tad more in it

DUVI SYCD GBFE; many traders dont/cant/wont do BB stocks; too damn hard to get in or out

PDSE was called on Tuesday; i got in at 5.125; in did nothing; yesterday it caught fire
I sold at 5.75; bought back at 5.875-6.125; flipped many 1000's of shares for a small gain; held some and sold my last at 8.50; it ran to 9.75
I made a lot on it but had I traded it better could have easily added $6-10,000 more to my account; these are the ones that we "pray" for and bang ourselves on the head for not getting the most out of
I also did the warrents PDSEW, bought a few 1000 ar $1, sold in minutes at 1.375, then it ran to the mid 2's UGGGGGGGG

DISK is a very tangental play on this craze; it was called late; may have some left in it

no one should do these kind of fad stocks unless they are in a real time mode and ready to push the button in an instant
traders have and will make or lose a lot on them

the best way to play a fad sector is to find the side plays to a primary stock (in the case KIDE) then get in very early
take profits on your primary position then hold some for a home run

at some point all become a short but if you short too early the pain can be extreme

good luck if you do any of these from this point forward
