Ummmm.... well, could be trouble ahead for a valuation hawk such as yourself... looks like Chambers is paying almost 6.9 billion for Vinod Khosla's startup company... in the optical market..? I don't know what to make of that myself, 6.9 billion, come on... maybe someone could enlighten me on why it might be worth that? (I don't recall Chambers ever overpaying before and he acquires a lot of companies so there must be a lot to this)...

The good news is, Ariba can't get into the manufacturing space where they need to be to become a major player...

Edit I originally said 9 billion in this post and changed it within the window... my mistake, sorry... the PRs are on the cisco thread and Chambers is appearing on cnbc and cnnfn tomorrow (hopefully Khosla won't be on also, just in case I'll keep my remote nearby)
