Neocon, this is the way the streets in Hollywood are laid out, if you are looking up at the Hollywood sign, the first east-west Blvd., from the base of the hill is Hollywood Blvd. 2nd Sunset blvd.,ends at pacific coast hwy. going west, 3rd, is Santa Monica blvd. also ends at PCH. 4th is Melrose Blvd. So you can see that Santa Monica Boulevard is one of the main streets in Hollywood. This is my old stomping ground, so I know that the song is a "Hollywood" song. And it's not really ironically placed. BTW I leaving town for a while. I'll be back in a week or so. C Kahn
