Nihil when did that happen? Open heart surgery? I too remember a bright light that some claim to be spirit. Like you I figured it was surgical lights or them poking a light in my eyes to see if any reaction. I was in a coma for 7 weeks, kept alive on machines, and had none of the wild out of body experiences. I have had an experience of seeing a place about 1/4 mile from where i was inside a building and couldn't see out. I was in two places at the same time. It was so startling I sent two people to see if I was dreaming. I described the people involved and the car they were in and the two people went there and verified it. One other time while at work I was also seeing things in a big city but didn't recognize as any place I had ever seen. No way to verify it. Some class this as psychic events but I cannot read minds, foretell future (evidenced by stock mkt losses lately.) and just simply do not understand. This all happened prior to my operations.
