Arthur,
Hi!! Thanks...I know some of the "commentators" are once again telling everyone that folks are taking money off the table today due to this recent run up...Once again I find it hard to believe that investors are selling DELL...Are folks not reading once again? IMO an announcement such as this is as big an announcement we have seen in a very long time..
Frankly, this excites me more than any other single announcement of recent...This DELLWEB service will dominate the industry...Tell me someone who wouldn't want their systems covered with this type of service?..
DELL is conquering the world...NO doubt about it...

RE: AUSTIN (AP) - Dell Computer Corp. announced a new service Wednesday under which the company will maintain customers' servers over the Internet.

The goal, said Ro Parra, senior vice president of Round Rock, Texas-based Dell, is to eventually have computer systems detect, diagnose and resolve most of their problems without human interaction.

``We intend to use the Internet to revolutionize the customer support experience,' Parra said.

The announcement marks an expansion of Dell's Internet capabilities, said Cody Acree, vice president of technical research at Frost Securities in Dallas. ``It is not something I've seen in the other major PC manufacturers.'

Best, Kemble
