Morning kathy. CSCO's moves appear to be having wide repercussions...MRVC now at appx 20 bid...while AFCI (holding this one also from before trip) is up 3 dollars in pre open bids. Worth watching.

>>>>Instead, he said attention was focused on Cisco Systems Inc (Nasdaq:CSCO - news) after people familiar with the situation
said after the New York close that it was buying Cerent Corp and Monterey Networks Inc. for a combined $7.36 billion in
stock.

The deal represents one of Cisco's most aggressive moves into the HOT MARKETt for optical networking, but analysts said Cisco
was having to dig deep into its pockets for the two private companies. Cisco stock was offered at $68-3/4 in London, slightly
stronger than its New York close, although dealers said it was untraded at that price.
