COST seems like a good way to play y2k. It seems reasonable that some people will be purchasing extra cases of food and water. Similarly, I would think that Costco will acquire new long term customers during this period, as people who have not previously shopped in bulk will now be enlightened (at the money they can save).

Just a theory. Does it make sense to anybody?
