Don't know, I don't think they ever cut a record....but people sometimes forget how close a lot of this folk/bluegrass/rock stuff was, now that we have an oversegmented market...

Actually, I take that back. I think Old and in the Way was something he and some friends dabbled in long after Grateful Dead was established.
