My guess is that large buyers like, if you say E*Offering
(which I did not know that they did such a thing)
cleaned up all the float. Those were small sellers selling in a
panic driven by short sellers.
Those prices in the 12-13 did not offer much volume. I had to go
high just to complete my order. From the recording of the transaction
pattern it was very small chunks.
