Thanks Bob, what are the costs associated with storage of physical gold? What i'm always hearing is a negative stance to owning physical due to the "storage costs". Possibly there is a way to remove this supposed negative slant by the gold industry through some break-even entity formed by the industry.
You'd think the Royal Canadian Mint would be a likely sponsor. If 80% goes to jewellery, perhaps a well formatted 1 hour weekly program consisting of news, explanation of different types of gold investment, breakdown of country holdings by both the governments and public covering a different country each week would go a long way in bringing that 80 down to 50% in a hurry.
This would be the objective, it wouldn't have to promote fear mongering, just an honest explanation. If gold cannot be explained as a rational investment, then it must not be one.
As far as the paper market, this could be explained also, and the benefits of securing physical. The name of the old fellow from CNBC , their market technician, what was his name, John Murphy? might make an interesting guest. I was watching the day, he commented that he thought the market was manipulated. Be nice to hear his explanation for that comment.

There may just be a lot of potential investors waiting out there that would put 3-5% in gold if it was laid out to them how to do it. Had access to phone in for an answers to their questions on the way to go about it.
