Sure, and it is great to do things that are problem solving, like play games. I bought my son Nintendo a long time ago because he was motivated to get through various mazes and puzzles (needless to say, he played the benign games). And we are in agreement about parental time. In fact, that should be the main focus of anxiety, though, not an artificial measure of tv time. I also agree that the NAACP should focus more on destructive patterns in the inner city. I just think that Medved's focus is too narrow, and that he may undermine the more important points by scolding....
