Thanks for the correction,

Obviously this story is wrong on this issue. I haven't owned TLAB for over 4 years (ouch!) and hadn't realized that the market cap had grown so much (ouch! ouch!).

The stock is coming back even as I type.

Clay

Sometimes we assume that a stock drops for the wrong reasons. This may have nothing to do with the CSCO acquisitions. About two and a half years ago (I am relying on memory here) TLAB was trading at around $24. In two days it had dropped to around $21. A couple of days later it was on its way to $30. It turns out that MER analysts had a meeting with the company and there was speculation that the stock would be downgraded. Instead, MER issued a strong buy and the stock promptly rebounded. I don't know what's behind the current drop, but I do know that the tech sector behaves in a manic depressive mode. Let's wait to hear something from the company.
