Myth,

The opposing point of view is that there were deep troubles at the time and some people didn't realize how far AG.com would go in order to bail out his friends. You know, winks, nods, option week surprise interest rate cuts, closed door meetings, a flood of liquidity. Now everyone sort of knows just how much taxpayer money he is willing to print, how many special deals he's willing to cut, and how many shorts he is willing to screw to get Wall St out of a jam. They call it moral hazzard and one person we all know calls AG.com the ultimate moral hazzard. Wayne

MM, I agree it could never happen again. The fact that it has happened every couple of years forever was just an accident. <g>
