Lingerfelt ? are you serious ??? RRC is 80%+ Nat Gas

Try any of 7 publically available analyst reports, their annual report etc... there are not just a Nat Gas ''Pure Play''' - but most importantly - an East Coast Nat Gas play ! I totally disaree with their 10K - I thought it was among the best ! - compare it with TMR's release today.... raising more questions than answers...

Insiders selling 689K was a mandatory filing by First Reserve - not like the CEO, or VP's were selling ; this is a beneficial owner of more than 10% of RRC - over 3.6 million shares and they are selling 689K. The JV raises some ''board'' issues etc. - also, lots of heding-selling in relationship to the JV.

While they made hedging decisions early in the year that in retrospect have been poor; they made these in relation to new bank lines, refi & deleveraging decisions. Actually - this is the single most compelling reason to buy RRC - the hedges come off in Oct. and no company in the nat gas sector has more upside to present market prices from prior realized prices in prior quarters than RRC !

This company is nicely leveraged - no longer a debt nightmare - 2000 EARNINGS estimates are for over $1.00 per share - how many mid cap E&P's will earn $1.00 + and are selling at 65% of Net Asset value and a PE of less than 5 ?

..... there is no close 2nd choice imho; perhaps CRK near $4 if it returns there (unlikely).

Compare RRC to TMR for cash flow multiple, 2000 EARNINGS PE, multiple of EBITD, or NAV ! not even close.... TMR is more of a potential drilling upside play like EEX - RRC is a low risk onshore - Apalachian region play.... when & not if.... bank on it.

The is the single best buy that I have seen since I have followed the Oilpatch - bar none ~ the timing could NOT be better; CEO has put his ass on the line assuring substantial cfps upside in Q3 - nat gas fundamentals are strong - and we are selling off an east coast nat gas pure play on weak crude prices ???? gimmie all I can get.
