Sorry, I assumed that a scramble meant a willingness to buy aggressively which indicates an upside pressure. My mistake in attributing wrong meaning to your words.

BTW, the calls are depreciating quickly now. The Sept 65s are 2 9/16 to 2 15/16. Earlier in the day, they were at this level when the stock was near the low of the day. The lowest trade for the 65s has been 2 5/8. They are also taking the premium out of the 60 calls which are now only 5 1/2 bid. When the stock was at 63 earlier, this option was 5 7/8 bid. Of course, the volatility in the stock is also diminishing and that may be having an effect on the options pricing.

BREIFING: Tellabs (TLAB) 63 5/16 -4 7/16: S.G. Cowen maintains their "strong buy" rating on voice, data and video transport and network access systems; yesterday the issue was up 5.5% on talks of an impending contract with AT&T (T 50 +3/4) for cable-telephony; today the issue is down on threats created by the Cerent acquisition by Cisco (CSCO 69 5/8 +1); S.G.

Cowen says, TLAB remains favorite core holding and would be buyers on the dip.....
