World Y2K center appeals for more country reports

<< A U.N.-backed clearing house for Year 2000 computer problems appealed Thursday for more countries to disclose their state of readiness.

The International Y2K Cooperation Centre issued an initial global report card with results for 72 countries but said it was still waiting to hear from 67 nations.

Another 56 countries have shared information with the centre but have not yet said whether it can be made public. >>

I'm very impressed at the detail outlined in that article. It sounds like Georgia's doing a GREAT job.

But ...

"Montana and Delaware don't have any plans in place to get their state's systems Y2K-ready, according to the National Bulletin Board for Y2K."

I'm flabbergasted that Montana and Delaware are doing NOTHING! I hope this isn't true. I'm curious how the media is presentating Y2K Preparedness in these states. I haven't run across anything.
