I'll tell you in advance I don't know the answer to this one.
There was a song in the early 80's, don't know artist or title, it was about some daredevil dude on his motorcycle that liked to go across the train tracks right before the train came buy.
The chorus was something like
Goodbye Franky, so long mate, i'll see you on the other side.

Anyone know who this was. Pretty corny song, just stuck in my head all these years.

OK, here's a hint: this NJ group's big 1972 hit was so big, Barry Manilow changed the title of his first record (which was a remake) to avoid confusion with it.

Pretty scary... from Josie Cotton and new wave to Barry Manilow in two steps.
