the buyers have been carefully adding to their positions over the past week. Today we get a little acceleration in the interest in the stock, fueled by Intel and Dell. Next week it should continue, subject to the old "sell on the news" theory. As to a split, you bet. No better time than after Intel, Dell, Compaq all make announcements and analysts up earning estimates. Then Rambus can finally "go public" with its own view of the situation and annoucing a split would be a great way to show its faith in the future earnings stream.
