Chuck, the company always has news in the pipeline. Lately no press release has done much for the stock. It certainly appears like the bargain of the century at these prices, but even the announcement of a stock buy back has not pushed it up. Short term? It's a gamble. Long term? Big bucks ahead.

Short term, they find some big fancy diamonds in Brasil, or South Africa. In late October we will get 3rd quarter statements which should be like the first quarter and much better than the 2nd where they took exploration writeoffs and paid for Camafuca.

In 5-6 months we will know a lot more about projects in South Africa. Marsfontein may have more economic pipes or dykes. Klipspringer drill proven dyke resource could be doubled in size and it could eventually prove to be 20 km long instead of the current 4 km according to geophysical and geochemical data. Klipspringer production will be increasing significantly over this time. It will eventually replace material from M1. Messina project decision will be known. This PGM project has the potential to at least double SUF's earnings and profit in 2003 from this years levels even if nothing else happens. The revenue and earnings potential of Klipspringer and Messina are close to the revenue and earnings of Dia Met and Aber. Look at their current share prices to determine the potential of SUF.

Take a chance, s**t your pants. (gggggg) :-))))

Short-term you have the September effect coming up in a few days ... looks to me quite healthy that suf would make a nice little double bottom here and then put on 35% ... Ward thinks so too - #reply-11070819 ... i'm not back in yet, but am hoping for profit-taking time in something else to get the cash before suf runs, which it will.

... and it's <cackle> on track - quote.yahoo.com

Hello Chuck:

I was out all day, just saw your question. Valuepro, russett, marcos, Blue answered you well already (see above) and I echo their feelings and comments. Fundamentally, SUF is very solid and I am very long on it! I am not a short-term investor; I buy at low levels and hold for large profits. So in that sense I am not the best person to get "short-term value" opinions from. On the long term, however, this stock is going North! I sense that it will get a kick when Camafuca results are released; it will also get a kick if and when SUF hits some economic dimondiferous kimberlite in NWT (as Vaughn so eloquently suggested to us over the past few weeks); it will also get a kick from Brazil, etc. What is short term? Maybe a month, maybe the "September syndrome", maybe 3 months... I wish I knew. But I do have a strong feeling that in the next 9 - 12 months we're back to double digits, which would give you a nice triple... And that's not wishful thinking, but a conclusion reached by looking at SUF's fundamentals.... terrific cash flow, NO DEBT, excellent property potentials, top-notch diamond finders. Now all we need is someone to run it like a business, and not as a junior company (no slight intended here to anyone)!
Welcome aboard!
Regards. Goalie.
