T being the broadband pipe and the ATHM content doesn't matter. You might want to answer these questions before you decide to subscribe to thestreet.con article: 1. How does data get from one cable system to another, how is it tied together? (T is only one of the partners) 2.How does ATHM keep their fast broadband content from getting bogged down in internet traffic? 3.Who sets up the local loop and field's subscribers support calls? 4. Who is responsible for local caching of broadband content? 5.If you had a fast pipe to a slow system that cost less, would you choose that over a fast pipe to a fast system that cost more? 6. If AOL were the only ISP left on the planet, would you give up the Internet and go back to reading books and sitting out on the lawn chatting with your friends?
